How to Measure for Custom Tailoring
Full Bust Measurement
Wrap the measuring tape horizontally around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and breathe naturally without pulling excessively tight.
Underbust / Blouse Waist
Measure directly underneath your bust line where the blouse band will naturally sit. This determines the snugness of your blouse rib hem.
Front & Back Neck Depth
Measure from the high point of the shoulder down diagonally to where you want the front cleavage or back dip to stop. Standard front neck is 6.5" - 7.5"; back neck is 9" - 11".
Sleeve Length & Arm Circumference
From the edge of the shoulder joint down your arm to desired sleeve hem (cap sleeve: 4", elbow: 10", full sleeve: 21"). Measure the bicep circumference at that point.
